Nintendo 3DS is Here!

Today at E3 Nintendo unveiled the Nintendo 3DS. It now has two cameras on the lid for 3D picture taking. On the interior it features a 3.5″ 3D screen (no glasses necessary) and a new analog stick. Notice the new placement of the start, select buttons and a new home button. The power button has [...]

New Xbox 360 Slim Has Arrived

Just announced today at E3 is the Xbox 360 Slim! It is slightly smaller than the current Xbox 360s and ships with a 250GB hard drive and a built-in wireless-N adapter. It will be priced at $299 and will be in stores by the end of the week.
I think we were all expecting this would [...]

New Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds Trailer

The comic-ish stylings in this trailer standout in this new trailer, not to mention the addition of two new characters.
This trailer is keeping me optimistic for this title.

There’s Starcraft Ghost in my new Starcraft II Trailer

*UPDATE* – Actually, someone pointed out that Nova is actually blonde. This is most likely pre-infested Kerrigan since she was a red head. From looks of it this is probably a flash back of when Mengsk abandons her and she gets taken by the Zerg.
Yea that’s right, this looks a lot like Nova from the [...]

Android: How to Hide the Status Bar and Title Bar

While developing a game application in Android its nice to have the full real-estate of the screen so hiding the Status Bar and Title Bar are a couple of things you’ll want to attack early on. Unfortunately, information on trying to do this isn’t that easy to find. Sifting through the API and Googling up [...]

After working with the Android SDK  using the Eclipse plugins I started to get annoyed by the following warning when working with XML files.
No grammar constraints (DTD or XML schema) detected for the document.
Luckily there is a way to remove this warning. Simply go to Window > Preferences > XML > XML Files > Validation. [...]

Mortal Kombat Rebirth shows up on YouTube

I’m still not sure what to think of this. The Mortal Kombat franchise is buried in failure. Even a dark realistic take on Mortal Kombat like this can’t fix the broken franchise. Most people will feel obligated to watch this nostalgic garbage but we should know better. The only thing I can applaud the writers [...]

Marvel vs Capcom 3 Screens

More screens here
I have to say I’m a bit disappointed. The character models look too sharp and the use of the Resident Evil 5 engine is very obvious with the dark shadows.
I’m hoping the gameplay exceeds MvC2, or this visual nightmare may keep me away from this game all together.

Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack Screens

New screens of the 5 maps incoming with the new MW2 Resurgence Pack. Two maps are from the original Modern Warfare, Vacant and Strike. The three new maps are Trailer Park, Fuel and Carnival. The map pack will hit Xbox Live on June 3rd at a cost of 1200 MS.

Modern Warfare 2 Resugence Pack Coming Next Month

The Stimulus Package did just that for Activision’s earnings reports even with all the Infinity Ward drama. So if it worked once why not do it again.
Another 5 map package will be coming our way in June. It’s unknown how many maps are actually new and how many are rehashes from the original Modern Warfare.
