Earlier today Infinity Ward released a patch to re-balance the overly exploited power of the akimbo shotguns. Most notably the dual wielding of the Model 1887 shotgun. The accuracy and range of this weapon have now been reduced.
Also the patch fixes the bug that randomly placed players into private matches.

The Madden 10 patch that went live for the PS3 last week is finally available for Xbox 360. Simply start the game while connected to Xbox Live to receive the patch.

An update on the second Madden 10 patch was posted on the EA sports blog so we can only speculate that the patch is now awaiting approval. In addition to the original patch details, they also mentioned a few more updates added in the patch.
