I don’t understand WOTLK

I still for the life of me don’t understand World of Warcraft’s new expansion Wrath of the Lich King. I don’t see why anyone would be excited about an expansion that doesn’t add any new races but adds a single hero class. Let me get this straight… Since there’s only one hero class everyone will eventually be a Death Knight negating the very thing that made each player unique.

Yea there is a new frozen world to explore but seriously… Blizzard is just going to keep releasing expansions with a single hero class and people are going to keep gobbling this shit up. If that’s the case more power to them but I for one don’t understand it. I was totally psyched for Burning Crusade but man that feels like such a long time ago.

Diablo III

The game play and trailer for Diablo III look amazing and I’m not even a huge fan of the series. I’m glad Blizzard didn’t announce another monthly payment game like W.O.W. I honestly had my doubts on a third installment of the series but everything that they’ve shown so far has blown me away. Blizzard is further extending their dominance in the PC game world.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Confirmed and on Camera

So here it is, the newest expansion for the ever growing World of Warcraft universe will be Wrath of the Lich King. I’m wondering if this expansion will build up some story behind what Arthas has been doing since he became the Lich King. Of course the main thing that will lure current WOW players to this expansion is the introduction of hero classes. This creates even more high-end content for those addicts to spend time on.

Actually, I’ve been stirring on the similarities between the Warcraft 3 story and the Starcraft story. Both end with an evil entity taking over as the dominant force. And in both stories they decide to sit on their thrown instead of seek out their enemies and finish them off.

BlizzCon 07 Preview

So by now all you die hard World of Warcraft addicts probably already know that you’re getting another expansion pack. Right when you thought there was nothing left to do after you hit level 70 Blizzard bumps the cap to level 80. All of a sudden you’re not as 1337 as you thought you were and you’ll have to pour more hours into the game just to feel good about yourself. Well at least they’ll add new races right? Nope. I mean classes right? Nope. They will add new sub classes if its any conciliation. Anyway, I’m never playing that game again.

I’ll be holding out on Blizzard until they unleash Starcraft II. Which is supposedly a playable demo at BlizzCon this year.

Blizzard 3rd team working on top secret project

Blizzard just can’t help but to make us wonder what their newest project will be. So supposedly they have a team for WOW, a team for SCII and now a 3rd team for some mystery project. It has already been confirmed this 3rd team is NOT working on Starcraft Ghost. But perhaps they are working on something like new Diablows. I’m still hoping its a new Viking game or perhaps something that takes the whole company in a new direction like WOW did.

I’m still blown away by SCII so I won’t even have the brain cells left if I were to find out what this new project is.
