The infinite care package glitch has now been taken care of. Start up the game while connected to Xbox Live to download the patch.
All is well in the world of Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer… Until someone finds a new annoying way to exploit the system.

Earlier today Infinity Ward released a patch to re-balance the overly exploited power of the akimbo shotguns. Most notably the dual wielding of the Model 1887 shotgun. The accuracy and range of this weapon have now been reduced.
Also the patch fixes the bug that randomly placed players into private matches.
