Gears of War 2 Official Update
The Gears of War update that we’ve all been waiting for is finally out but I’ve been too stupid to try it yet. After reading the description of the bug fixes and balancing changes on the official forum, I have to say I’m quite pleased. It seems to me like the guys at Epic really do care about what the fans are saying.
So for all those cheaters out there; no more invisible shields, back flips, pickup slides and quitters. Well, you can still quit but your rank will be more severly punished.
The other big change is the execution rules in annex mode. This change was made to prevent players from downing enemies without finishing them to stall time.
Now if they could only fix that lag…
Based on last night, they still have a lot of work to do.
Yea the lag still makes the game unplayable at times.
