NBA 2K9 – Freezing Issue During Association Player Development
I just ran into this problem last night. Basically the game will freeze when you’re trying to develop one of your players in Association mode. Once you choose your player the screen will freeze completely. At first I thought my Xbox 360 was busted but after trying it multiple times I decided to look it up online. This problem also occurs on PS3 and is an issue with the downloaded roster.
This only happens after you have downloaded the first online roster update.
The official word from 2k Sporst is:
We are aware of freezing issues occurring when going online with both the Xbox 360 and PS3 console and NBA 2K9. This has to do with issues on our server that we are working to correct.
They don’t actually mention the Association Player Development directly but since most people elect to download the living rosters, I guess they just consider that “going online”.
2K falters in their domination of EA this year. Not to say they aren’t dominating EA but they are definitely not doing it the flashiest ways. This is one way to get people on your bad side. Not me of course, I’m a patient person.
hi those anyone know y nba 2k9 keeps freezing first i thought i was my system so i went out and bought a 60gb hard drive so i can go on xbox live to get some updates it said there r updates for this game i DL it but it keeps freezing can anyone plz help me
