My First iPhone Bill

I just got my first iPhone Bill from AT&T today and man does it hurt. I’m used to paying around $52 for my monthly cell phone plan so it is quite the contrast when my bill hits triple digits. I have the lowest iPhone plan and the lowest SMS plan but the total still came out to $112 and some change. This is including the $18 upgrade fee I had to pay when I upgraded to the iPhone.

I might not be able to afford the iPhone forever but at least I’m enjoying it while I can. I do have the option of canceling the data plan and just using the iPhone for calls and wifi. That doesn’t sound too bad does it?

Over 23,000 signatures have been collected for Mexico’s very own iPhone petition. Telcel’s 3 plans include a mere 100-200 MB of Data, and if you go over they charge you around $4 dollars per megabyte. The so called Unlimited Plan switches to the slower 128Kbps network when you reach 3 GB; not such a great deal at $140 dollars per month.

yeah, if I got one, I’d probably just use the wifi. once wifi is all over the world, we won’t need data lines like 3G..

An iphone without data? If I were to do that for my BB it would be like cutting off my life support.
