Instant Messengers – Of course I need instant messaging capabilities. Too bad once you close the app you can’t recieve any messages. That is until Apple releases the Push server.

Shazam – So far the best free app available. If you’ve ever heard a song on the radio or at a club and wanted to know what it was, Shazam solves it for you.

Pandora – Internet radio, I prefer this over last.fm even though they are almost the same thing.

ShoZu – I only use this for uploading Flickr photos. Couldn’t find anything better at the moment.
