We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things – Jason Mraz

I heard the new Jason Mraz single “I’m Yours” a week ago and I enjoyed it enough to give the album a listen. The funky tracks on the album make for some addictive audio. The slower tracks accompany the album but definitely aren’t the main attraction here.

Overall, this album is definitely better than his last release “Mr. A-Z”. A disappointment for sure, since his first album “Waiting for My Rocket to Come” did so well, but it looks like he hit his stride again with this one. I’ll be playing his disco tracks on my ipod for weeks to come. It’s definitely a throw-back to funkier times, but he still manages to keep it fresh.

Fav Tracks:

  • Butterfly
  • Make it Mine
  • The Dynamo of Volition

Other things I’m listening to:
“Cross” – Justice
“Self titled” – Brazilian Girls

that first Brazilian Girls record is pretty good, but Talk to La Bomb was just incredibly vanilla.

I wouldn’t say it was vanilla, it just wasn’t as good. Oh and use the login I made for you, thanks.
