Warriors seem to have burnt out the clutch
Warriors lost the game at the end of the fourth quarter before Utah finished them off in overtime. The Warriors haven’t been hitting their free throws since the start of the playoffs but coming down to the end of the game Biedrins is able to hit 2 awkward free throws yet Pietrus misses both of his 2 free throws. Baron Davis could close out the game but he misses 1 of 2 free throws and Utah is able to tie the game. Baron Davis is given the final shot but can’t sink the jumper for the win.
These are examples of clutch performances just not being there. Utah knew they were being held at the throat yet some how found a way to make huge shots from D. Williams and Okur at the end of the game. Once they were in overtime with the crowd and momentum behind them they just turned on the after burners. They really trounced the Warriors scoring 14-4 in overtime. Fisher must have been feeling great after pounding his former team in overtime.
In the end I still feel that if the Warriors can play this well and keep it close in Utah they will blow out the Jazz in Oakland come Friday.
